JANUARY 27 2014 MAH JONGG TOURNAMENT WINNERS

The January 2014 Mah Jongg tournament was a huge success! We have so many terrific volunteers who gave so generously of their time. Special thanks to all who donated wonderful raffle and door prizes. Your beautiful donations are so appreciated! Keep them coming in to me!
All of our committee helpers worked so well together! We appreciated our Set-up workers: Sheila Feinstein Bettye Green, Eileen Fleischer, Geri Rittberg, Donna Baker, Laurie Coop, Sherrill Simon, and Paula Goldstein, Thanks to Rita Gallin and Marlene Goldberg who ran the Mah Jongg Gift Shop and to our smiling greeters: Bonnie Klepner and Geri Rittberg. Special thanks to Debbie Dessert, Paula Goldstein, Carolyn Cass, Sally Moss, and Sandy Solomon who worked the scoring table. The hard working kitchen crew of Francine Pergamit, Sandy Melee, and Eileen Fleischer were outstanding!
Many thanks to our runners, future tournament sellers, raffle sellers, general helpers and clean-up crew: Marge Levenson, Sheila Feinstein, Laurie Coop, Paula Goldstein, Elly Cazes, Geri Rittberg, Sandy Cohen, Ruby Weinstein, Bobbi Stein, Evie Brauer, Carolyn Cass, and Marsha Riefs. Thanks for pitching in and giving extra help where needed!
As always, the baked goodies were fabulous! Our players just love them and are so very grateful! Many thanks to our Sisterhood ladies, for baking their favorite recipes.

Temple Shalom Sisterhood holds three Mah Jongg tournaments a year that are open to the public and attended by players from Sumter, Marion, and Lake counties.

We use National Mah Jongg League rules which are updated annually.



There are cash prizes totaling $550, wonderful Raffle prizes and many door prizes for lucky players

TooJay's caters a wide variety of sandwiches and salads for lunch which are included along with soda and bottled water in the price of your Tournament ticket.  You select the lunch you desire from a variety of options on our tournament registration form. Lunch is served at the same time for everyone.
 
 
 
 
 
COME JOIN THE FUN !  CATERING BY TOOJAY'S IN THE VILLAGES.  BELOW PART OF THE LUNCH CROWD
 

 
Fabulous home made baked goods are provided for the players all day, along with coffee, tea and water are available all day long from check-in to end of tournament....
at no charge



Break time occurs when a table finishes their 4 hands early (there is a 1 hour limit for play) and they can enjoy baked goods and drinks
